The banner runs across key regional publishers' websites in the Asia Pacific region and delivers users a unique online experience by engaging them with the real-time news stories as they happen around the world. CNN is the first news organization to integrate this technology into a marketing campaign. Harnessing the vast resources across the CNN.com network, the live banner automatically updates its content by showcasing the top three headlines that appear on the homepage of CNN.com. Users can read the full story by clicking on the live banner, which automatically takes users to CNN.com. They can also share stories via email, as well as through popular social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter by posting the story directly to their wall.
