It covers the latest headlines from the markets, looking at the events and developments that have made an impact on the business world in the last seven days. The show also looks at the financial numbers and report on the corporate winners and losers of the week, focussing on the region's currencies, commodities and bond markets. Away from the headlines, the show also interviews a major player from the region's business community each week and focuses on an industry sector or economic trend that is influencing business development in the Middle East.

The show is presented by the highly-experienced business anchor and correspondent, John Defterios, with more than 20 years of business and current affairs editorial experience. He is an expert on Middle Eastern business. Defterios was previously an anchor of CNN's 'World Business Today' and rejoins CNN to present this show. John hosts the show from CNN's London production center.
