CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta anchors a global broadcast highlighting progress and challenges in child survival. Featuring committed UNICEF ambassadors and celebrities at work on projects to benefit children around the world, including actor Lucy Liu, special reports from CNN will include Dr. Gupta in Peru reporting on children affected by HIV/AIDS, Jill Dougherty in Iraq reporting on protection from violence against children, Dan Rivers in Laos reporting on providing children with safe water and sanitation, and Wilf Dinnick in Ethiopia reporting on the needs and aid activities that support child development. Filmed in high definition before a live studio audience at the Alliance Theater inside Atlanta's High Museum of Art, this special showcases UNICEF's ongoing commitment to protecting children around the world.
